Yellow
The color I have chosen is yellow. This color represents joy. Today I have joy because of the new opportunities I get to experience. The lines look as if they were plants, which is full of life. Thats why this photo is a good choice for my mood.

The zig zag and curvy lines in the painting represent the happy and exciting mood I am in. There are different types of colors and their shades, which represents the different emotions I am feeling. The blue means that I am a little tired, but it is in a curvy line. The yellow, green, and red colors represent a happy and calm mood.
ZAch's anwer
This abstract painting represents me because it has a lot of colors(emotions). The white represents hope for the future, green represents my fear of bees, and the yellow represents my joy for art

Chloe's Answer
This picture of abstract art reflects my mood whenever I'm peppy. It represents ecstasy and the feeling of being on cloud 9. All of the crazy, bright, neon colors are all over the place, and not neatly placed; it's all crazy. This represents my mood whenever I'm ecstatic; all crazy and fun. I'm not thinking about any deadlines and just living in the moment. The yellow represents ecstasy, while the bright greens represent admiration.

This piece of abstract art represents howI feel today. I think about the future and this abstract shows that there's two paths that you can take. The blue and yellow being the good and optimistic and the red and orange being the bad and aggressive. Thats how this piece represents how I feel.
Sabrinas Answer
This picture represents mixed feelings. There are bright colors such as pink, yellow, green, orange etc. Which represent joy, interest, acceptance, and serenity. There are also dark colors such as blue and red. Which represent sadness grief and anger. The lines also represent my mood. They are curvy which means that they are always changing and are everywhere. Their is never a set mood.
Dante's Post
This picture makes me feel happy and joyful. The bright colors represent joy and the wavy lines represent a happy mood and no worries.

This picture represents the feeling of sadness. There are cool colors of light and dark blues. The curves in the lines also make this abstract painting seem like it's portraying waves in the ocean. When your in the ocean sometimes you can get lost in the waves, and this feeling is brought throughout this painting.

My mood is tired. The picture is kinda in a daze and not in focus. The lines are wavey instead of straight. The colors are faded. Not bright, dim colors.

Lexy's Answer
This abstract painting represents my mood today because I have mixed emotions. While the yellow represents joy, the blue mixed within it represents sadness at the same time. The lines represent my mood too because they are curvy which means they change all the time and have no direct path. Today, my mood could change at any time so this painting accurately describes how I feel.

Assignment three - color and mood
Colors relate to moods. Example "I feel blue" means I feel sad. We just learned about Picasso's blue and rose periods.
Assignment: Find an abstract painting that relates to your mood today and then give an explanation why the colors and lines represent your mood today.
Use this chart to help decipher the color mood relationship. Note the darker the color (shade0 intensifies the mood and the lighter color ( tint) is a more subtle mood.
